ABOUT

Larksong Preschool is a nature-based and Waldorf-inspired early childhood program located in South Minneapolis. We have two in-home mixed age early childhood locations; LARKSONG BLUE HOUSE and the other called LARKSONG LITTLE HOUSE.  We planned to open a third, commercial childcare location in the summer/fall of 2024 but this has been put on hold with a potential opening in January 2025. We provide a mixed-age toddler/preschool program for children ages 16 months-6 years old and summer camp for children ages 2-10 years old. Tierney Farrell, the director and lead teacher at Larksong Blue House has been an Early Childhood teacher for many years and holds a BA in Early Childhood Education. She is also a trained Waldorf Teacher. All assistants and teachers are licensed, trained and experienced early childhood educators.
